Although the People Tree holds daily recruitment interviews for talented head chefs, restaurant and bar managers at our head offices, we also hold big monthly recruitment open days at our clients premises across the UK. This is an ideal opportunity for skilled candidates, who may otherwise not be able to get to our Manchester, Birmingham or London offices, to speak to one of our experienced representatives in person and register their CV and details with us.

Our recruitment events give us an opportunity to see 30 or 40 candidates on an informal basis during our events. We hold our recruitment events at different client venues (often, in their restaurants, bars or hotel conference rooms) around the UK; including Leeds, Edinburgh, Bristol, Manchester, London, Glasgow, Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle & Gatwick airport.

Most of our events are all-day affairs, usually between 10am to 7pm, giving job candidates ample opportunity to see us without time restraints. Candidates arrive with their CV, get a 15 minute one to one conversation with one of our experienced recruitment consultants and advice as to which chef, management or assistant management job vacancies may be most suitable for them.

We can also tell candidates a little more about what’s going on in evolving industry of ours, and if we think we can help them... we we’re looking for a broad range of experienced restaurant chefs, gastro, brasserie, theme and hotel bar managers, assistant managers and the like, so it’s likely we will have something of interest to them! We can also register potential candidates onsite so we can contact them promptly should a suitable position arise thereafter.
