The People Tree has three regional recruitment offices – London, Birmingham, Manchester, so we are ideally positioned to cover the whole of the UK.

We aim to look at all CVs within 4 hours. Naturally, one of our recruitment experts will be in touch promptly if we think we can help.
Q: Are you able to work with me without meeting me first?
No. We will need to meet to hear your goals and plans and get a general feel for who you are and what you are about...specifically what career in the bar/ restaurant chef or management sector are you seeking, what aspirations do you have, what areas are you willing to relocate to?
We need to discuss how we can help you achieve your aims, and that’s best achieved in person. Also, we’ll be more comfortable with putting you forward you to a valued client once we’ve met you in person.
Q: How long does an initial registration meeting last?
Usually a registration takes no more than 30 minutes, we’ll try and get you through the process as quickly as possible!

Q: Are you flexible on interview times?
Of course – we will do our best to accommodate an interview slot with one of our recruiters for you at a time that suits you.
Q: Should I wear a suit when coming to meet you?
Yes. As our offices are located in the business districts of London, Manchester and Birmingham, the reception policy may not allow you access unless you are formally dressed. And whilst we don’t judge on appearances, smart attire will certainly help you to make a more favorable impression over t-shirts and trainers.

Q: When I register will I be meeting someone who has industry experience in my sector?
Yes, all of our consultants have experience in the bar, hotel and restaurant management and chef industry- it is a pre-requisite of working for the People Tree, Many of our experienced recruitment team have worked at Area Manager level and so are able to offer the best practical advice on the day.
Q: How quickly can The People Tree find positions for candidates?
We will endeavour to move as quickly as possible in offering you suitable options. However, if nothing suitable is on at the time of registering, we will be back in touch as soon as we can.
Q: Will I be considered for future roles as well as current?
We always do our best to communicate what is going on within the market to our candidates. If a bar/ restaurant chef or management/ assistant management position becomes available and meets your level of experience and skills, you can be assured we’ll be in touch promptly.
